Plants and animals are parallel evolved from nature at the starting point, the origin of the life to till, and animals always dependent on the plant for their food, and another purpose. Plants can make their own food by using of in photosynthesis pathway, presences of chlorophyll, CO2, water, sunlight to form a glucose molecule.
In animals’ cells lack chlorophyll content, that’s why they do
not syntheses their own food by using sunlight. Animals always dependent on
plants and they get food and other molecules from the plants. animal molecules
always associated to plant molecules, but sightly different is animals reorganized
and bullied molecules from their body structure point of view.
Any
organism they have sufficient amount of elements or chemical molecules for their
living, that state we called healthy life, it does not have a sufficient amount
of elements or molecules for living that is we called unhealthy, that unhealthy
maybe a deficiency, disorder, and disease.
Therefore, how we can recover from the unhealthy condition to a healthy condition, depending upon the required amount of that desired elements or molecules. The desired amount of elements or molecules called medicine, that medicine we can get from the plants or synthesis substances.
Pants have billions of diverse desired amounts of elements or molecules, that elements can cure our deficiency or disorder or diseases. Which plant has the desired amount of elements for a particular deficiency, or disorder, or disease, so that plant we called that particular medicinal plant, that desired elements called bioactive molecules, and chemical elements derived from the plants so that’s why we called phytochemicals.
Phytochemicals derived from the metabolism activate, the process, here two types of metabolisms activities in plants, primary metabolism, and secondary metabolism.
Primary metabolism is required to
maintains for cells sustainable activity, such as cells growth, cells
reproduction, and in this process produced products called primary metabolites,
such as carbohydrates, amino acids, proteins, fatty acids, and nucleic acids. Primary
metabolites must and should require for plants or cells living and biosynthesis
other activities.
Secondary metabolites
are very unique structures on the basis of plants, plant species, and their product’s
also known as natural products. The majority of secondary metabolites derived or
synthesized by two principles pathways, one is the shikimic acid biosynthesis pathway
pool produced aromatic amino acids and turn into phenolic compounds, tannins,
and alkaloids. Another one acetyl-COA mevalonic acid pathway, which leads to producing
terpenoids.
Plants secondary metabolites are very important
in the drug discovery process. Today number of medicinal drugs derived from the plant’s
secondary metabolites, till researches on going to identifications of different
drug molecules for human and animals well fear purposes.
Secondary metabolites constituents different types of phytochemicals, and bioactive molecules, its cure number of disease and pharmaceutical activities.
Nowadays peoples looking into phytomedicines or herbal medicine, because allopathic medicine can cure the disease within days and relief within minutes from that particular problem, but in the process of problem relief that drug molecules act with other sites, suppressed the immunity the system, its leads to form other problems or adverse reaction.
