The plant distributes all over the world. It is a annual, erect herb, 2cm longe simple opposite, lanceolates leaves. Fruits are capsules with black color seeds.

The plant consisted very important petrochemical constituents,betulinic acid, lupeol, ellagic acid,querecetin, lawsone, vitamin C, steroids, triterpense, coumarines, flavanols and tannins.

Traditionally  used for anti-arthritis treatments and also skin diseases. Pharmacological it is used  
for anti-inflammatory,analgesic effects, wound healing ,antibacterial effects, anti-urolithic, cytotoxic,anti-steroidogenic and potential antioxidants activities.
