Ixora pavetta


It is a evergreen shrub,commonly grown in Indian gardens,with white flowers.Leaves are simple,oblong elliptic opposite,stem bark grey brown. Flower white with agreeable aromatic odours.

Traditionaly it is used to treatment of chronic wounds,inflammation, urinary diseases,skin diseases pulmonary troubles, liver disorders, hair tonic, seadative diuetic, diarrhoea, dysentery, leucorrhoea and veneral diseases .
The plant consisted of numerous petrochemicals like Ixoral, beta-sitosterols, rutin, kempferol, lauric acid, myristic acid, plamitic acid, stearic, arachidic and behenic oleic acids.
